Advanced DISC Certification Modules

Advanced DISC Certification Modules are for experienced DISC facilitators who want to enhance their knowledge, expertise and professional skills. They are independent modules – select the one(s) you need.

Advanced Certification Modules:

LIVE Sessions: Each of the Advanced Certification Modules is one session that is customized to your needs. You can select the ones that are most relevant to you. They are live, ONE-ON-ONE, Zoom® sessions with an Extended DISC® Senior Facilitator.

Earn Credits: These Advanced Extended DISC® Certification modules have been approved for HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, aPHRi™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). This program is also approved for PDC (professional development credits) toward your SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP recertification.

Delivering Team DISC Sessions

DISC Facilitators will gain practical experience and increased confidence in delivering team DISC sessions using the Extended DISC® Team Assessment.

Cost – US$375 (Group pricing offered)

Length – 2 hours

Earned Credits: Hours/PDC Awarded 2.00

Recommended: Facilitators who are delivering team DISC sessions, coaching teams, and supporting team development.

Prerequisite:
Extended DISC® Certification

Focus topics:

  • Applying 4 Steps to Effective Interactions to teams
    • Understanding team members’ styles and team styles
    • Understanding my team member style
    • Identifying the styles of my team members
    • Adjusting my style for more effective interactions
  • Debriefing the Extended DISC® Team Assessment (preferably a team assessment provided by participant)
  • Highlight team DISC activity options
  • Highlight Extended DISC® team facilitation resources
  • Review Extended DISC® Team DISC Module – your guide and template to delivering a team session
  • Deliver and self-assess live session 

Delivering Leadership DISC Presentations

DISC Facilitators will gain practical experience and increased confidence in delivering leadership DISC sessions using the Extended DISC® Leadership Assessment.

Cost – US$375 (Group pricing offered)

Length – 2 hours

Recommended: Facilitators who are delivering leadership DISC sessions, coaching leaders, and supporting leadership development.

Prerequisite:
Extended DISC® Certification

  • Debriefing Extended DISC® Leadership Assessment
  • Review Leadership Facilitator Guide DISC PowerPoint
  • Leadership training resources
  • Post-session review of first DISC leadership session delivery

Reading Extended DISC® Profiles – Deeper Dive

DISC Facilitator will be able practice advanced interpretation of the Extended DISC® Profiles. You will be more confident in debriefing Profile results, trusting the validity of a person’s results, and gain insight into the key underlying emotions tied to Extended DISC® Profiles.

Length – 1 hour

Earned Credits: Hours/PDC Awarded 1.00

Recommended: Facilitators who are coaching individual DISC sessions and/or want to know how to read Extended DISC® Profiles beyond just describing the DISC style.

Prerequisite:
Extended DISC® Certification

Focus topics:

  • Identifying and understanding Basic Profile Types
  • Identifying validity in Profile results
  • Identifying and debriefing Special Situations Profiles
  • Practice debriefing Profile results using sample Profiles and case studies

Teach Back Practicum

DISC Facilitators will gain practical experience and increased confidence in delivering their first DISC session through one-on-one instructor feedback.

Cost – US$295 (Group pricing offered)

Length – 1.5 hours

Earned Credits: Hours/PDC Awarded 1.50

Recommended: Facilitators who have completed their DISC training and want a real time experience of delivering a DISC session.

Prerequisite:
Extended DISC® Certification

Focus topics: Participant chooses one of three presentation options for teach back:

  1. One step from 4 Steps to Effective Interactions: 2-Hour Workshop
  2. How to Debrief the Extended DISC® Assessment Virtually
  3. Participant’s personal presentation

Interpreting the Extended DISC® Assessment for DISC Facilitators

DISC Facilitators, who are not certified through Extended DISC, will be trained to debrief the Extended DISC® Individual Assessment and more confidently use Extended DISC® tools.

Length – 1 hour

Earned Credits: Hours/PDC Awarded 1.00

Recommended: DISC facilitators who want to understand the Extended DISC® Assessment tools and do not need additional DISC training.

  • Debrief the Extended DISC® Individual Assessment; specifically, focusing on the Extended DISC® Profiles and Diamond
