Do I need training/certification to use Extended DISC® Assessments?
No. Training/certification is not required to use Extended DISC® Assessments, but it is recommended. We offer several Certification options, all providing recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR or SHRM credits toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification.
Is Extended DISC® validated?
Yes. Extended DISC® is validated — and periodically re-validated – around the world to ensure reliability and accuracy. Extended DISC® maintains integrity and transparency by not generating an assessment when the validity of the results is low. The most recent worldwide Validation Study had a sample size of 960,810 individuals. The latest validation and reliability study included over 110 countries, 77 languages, different age groups, genders, National Stress Indicator, and Code of Fair Testing practices.
Do you provide the assessments gender-inclusive language?
Yes. The assessments are available in gender-inclusive language that does not discriminate against a particular sex, social gender or gender identity, and does not perpetuate gender stereotypes.
Is Extended DISC® GDPR compliant?
Yes. Extended DISC® is fully compliant with GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the necessary Data Audit is performed annually.
Make sure the assessment you choose is GDPR compliant as there are significant penalties for non-compliance. The fine is 20,000,000 EUR (about $24,000,000).
What about client/facilitator support?
We do not rely on third-party resellers without clearly defined and monitored customer service criteria. We have service standards that include response time to all requests, regular check-ins to ensure clients are achieving their goals, and their in-house facilitators have the support they need to succeed with their professional and personal objectives.
